This is why when beginning your skin journey with us we like to do an in depth consultation where we discuss your skin goals and aspirations, your current routine and past treatment history.
WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN A SKINCARE ROUTINE
Your skincare routine does not have to be overly complicated. You can have a minimal routine that focuses on maintenance or in treating a specific concern, speciality treatment serums can be added.
Simple but effective AM routine:
- Cleansing with a gentle cleanser appropriate for your skin type
- Moisturizing with appropriate moisturiser
- Protecting with a broad spectrum physical SPF
You may wish to add in an antioxidant like AlumierMD’s incredible EverActive C&E to your morning routine. Other speciality treatment serums can be added to your morning routine if required.
Simple but effective PM routine:
- Double cleansing with a gentle cleanser appropriate for your skin type
- Moisturizing with appropriate moisturiser
You may wish to add some light exfoliation or weekly exfoliating treatments. If you wish to add in speciality treatment serums for specific concerns please speak with our aesthetic practitioner who can advise you further.
SKIN TREATMENTS AT BEECHVIEW
All of our treatments are done by our aesthetic practitioner. Beechview uses an advanced and safe approach backed up with innovative technologies when it comes down to skin treatments. Our mission is that all our patients get the best out of it.
Skin glow – hydrafacial treatment
This treatment is great for patients who are just starting out with their skin journey or wish to have a treatment that leaves them feeling refreshed! Treatment results include brightening dull skin and improving uneven tone. This treatment removes whiteheads and blackheads. This treatment is excellent for all skin types. There is minimal to no downtime for clients. No patch test is required prior to treatment. This can be booked without prior skin consultation.
Skin light – IPL treatment
IPL stands for intense pulsed light. It is an excellent treatment to specifically target solar lentigos/sun spots and vascularity as the IPL is attracted to pigment in the skin. If you wish to improve and even out your overall skin tone this is an excellent treatment to consider. The treatment itself is very quick with minimal downtime. Patch testing is required prior to treatment. We advise SPF protection always but for a minimum of 30 days post treatment. Course of treatment along with a targeted skin routine is usually required and advised for optimal results.
Skin tight – Radiofrequency treatment
If your skin concern is skin that has lost elasticity and strength, radiofrequency is a treatment worth considering. Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin. The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen
Skin resurface – Fractional radiofrequency
Treatment is used to remove noticeable signs of damaged skin, and to diminish signs of your skin aging. For this method, skin type is not important and it can be applied to any skin condition. The results of this treatment come much faster compared to the other treatments as the recovery process is faster.
