What is the depth of an AlumierMD chemical peel?
The Alumiermd chemical peels are classified as light to medium depth peels. Light peels exfoliate to various levels of the epidermis(the top layer of our skin) medium peels treat through the papillary dermis.
How often should I get an AlumierMD chemical peel?
Treatments are done 4 weeks apart.
Acne: every two weeks.
Rosacea: every three weeks.
Ageing: every four weeks.

You can purchase AlumierMD products in clinic. It’s also possible to buy them from Beechview’s Alumier portal where the products will be delivered to your home, this can be done once you have had a skin consultation.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the treatment?
Stop using your exfoliants and retinoids 3-5 days before treatment. You must also avoid tanning, including self-tanners as treatment cannot be carried out if the treatment area has been tanned (naturally or using tanners). You may be advised to shave the area before your treatment. Remove any jewelry around the area being treated.
